Into It. Over It.

Here is the first release we’ll be distributing in the UK, from a non-Pink Mist label… Into It. Over It’s ‘Twelve Towns’ album, released in the US via our good friends at Topshelf Records, is now available to pre-order from our Big Cartel site and will be in shops across the UK from 19th September. Into It. Over It., the one-man moniker of Evan Thomas Weiss, has announced the release of his new compilation ‘Twelve Towns’, available from September 12 via Topshelf Records (distributed in the UK via Pink Mist), on CD and limited edition 12” vinyl, as well as a series of UK shows beginning this week.

Into It. Over It. boasts an exciting and honest look at both the music industry and life while being a perfect fit for existing fans of Braid, Death Cab, or Piebald. ‘Twelve Towns’ is a compilation of 12 tracks that are together in one place for the first time, having previously been released individually on split 7”s with the likes of Everyone Everywhere, Empire! Empire! and Castevet. As its title suggests, ‘Twelve Towns’ is a record that comprises of places Weiss has witnessed on his tour travels of his native America, with each track representing the varied sonic characteristics of each city, from the acoustically engaging moments on ‘Nashville, TN’ through the to the energetic full-band bravado of ‘Washington, DC’.

Having just toured the US with Fake Problems and soon to be joining Frank Turner on his next American tour, Into It. Over It. returns to the UK this week for his second series of solo sets, following his successful UK jaunt with Grown Ups and Shoes & Socks Off last year.
