I’m incredibly excited to announce that we’re releasing The James Cleaver Quintet’s debut album, “That Was Then, This Is Now” on vinyl later this month! I’ve been a massive fan of these guys for years and literally couldn’t be happier to finally be working with them on something. This is hands down one of the best albums released this year (it’s already received 5K’s from Kerrang, 9/10 Rock Sound, 5/5 Front, the list goes on) and is also one of the most ambitious debuts I’ve heard - 50 minutes of rock n’ roll tinged hardcore-punk, seamlessly infused with incredible pop hooks, thrashy guitars, latin jazz instrumentals, bursts of electronica and just about everything in between.

The album was released by Hassle Records (who signed the band last month) on Monday via CD/download. You can stream the entire record from the band’s Facebook page but make sure you check out the vinyl pressing, which is every bit as ostentatious as the record itself - two limited colour variations including solid pink, and black vinyl with yellow and pink splatter.
