ABOUT
Pink Mist is a new independent UK label collective comprised of Big Scary Monsters, Holy Roar Records, Blood and Biscuits and Tangled Talk. Four of the UK’s leading DIY tastemaker labels, each with their own individual niche, but with a shared attitude towards music.
The new collective is a natural culmination of years of affiliation through collaborative releases, joint tours and sharing common goals, having already introduced music fans around the world to UK artists such as *deep breath*… Rolo Tomassi, Three Trapped Tigers, Pulled Apart By Horses, Gallows, Adebisi Shank, Meet Me In St Louis, Tubelord, Throats, Dananananaykroyd, Gallops, This Town Needs Guns, Tall Ships, Holy State and many, many more. Not to mention releases by U.S acts such as Andrew W.K, Trash Talk, Kevin Devine and Walter Schreifels (Rival Schools).
Pink Mist is set to form a united front, continuing to bring you the most exciting new music from a rich and vibrant UK scene the labels have become synonymous with.
The debut Pink Mist release ‘Hello Pink Mist’ is fittingly released on Record Store Day (April 16th). The 12” LP (on pink and white vinyl) features 12 exclusive tracks from all three label’s current rosters including some new additions to the fold.
The day of the release also sees the collective’s first day party event at Notting Hill Arts Club and will feature performances from numerous artists on ‘Hello Pink Mist’.
The first in a series of Pink Mist tours sees Three Trapped Tigers and Tall Ships tearing through the UK this May.
