This Glasgow four piece Crusades hit hard with their post hardcore offerings. The band released their debut EP ‘Golden Throats’ to critical acclaim last year and have supported such Pink Mist related bands as Rolo Tomassi, Mutiny on the Bounty and Shapes. They have played T in the Park and Liverpool Sound City and will be opening up the first ever ArcTanGent Festival this summer. The band are currently in the studio recording the follow up to ‘Golden Throats’ due out this Autumn, but in the meantime Crusades have given Pink Mist an exclusive track ‘Dead Friends’ for our aural pleasure. Renegade Brighton three piece Spacenoid blend post rock epicness and electro mastery with cunning mathy movements resulting in a sound not many bands can pull off. Signed to experimental art collective Beatabet, the band are moving up the ranks in their home town and are swiftly becoming ones to watch.

This lively four piece from Liverpool create playful angular mathy pop. Quirky lyrics and jagged time signatures alongside razor sharp guitars and strange song structures, make this bunch an intriguing force to be reckoned with. The band are releasing their debut EP on Monday 22nd April but they have let us have an exclusive peak at the whole thing. Undeniably catchy and with an infectious energy, Vasco Da Gama are currently causing quite a stir on the live scene.

Plaids are a straight-up punk band from Nottingham. Short, sharp tracks with punchy lyrics and played with an urgency only the young and pissed off can muster! The band have provided Pink Mist with an exclusive track ‘Twelve’ that is unavailable anywhere else until later this year when it is released on a split 7″ with Football Etc. The band are playing with France’s Baton Rouge in their very own DIY label JT Soar in Nottingham as well as heading out on the road with Football Etc in the summer.
